I'm sorry for being out of touch lately... Too many things going on in my life at the moment! I'm leaving for Mexico next week and I promise a big update when I come back.

We've Got Paper is closing, but I'll open a new online stationery shop with new designs as soon as possible.

In other news, my son's dad turned 36 yesterday so we had a little celebration and I'm getting excited about my upcoming trip to Las Vegas with my mom! We're leaving on Monday morning and coming back on Thursday night, so you won't hear from me for a few days.

More News + More Clearance

I had been thinking about it for a few years, but I finally gave my dog Capsule away yesterday. I know it was the best decision for everyone involved, but it still made me sad.


She's such a lovely dog and she deserves a family who will take care of her properly. Our lifestyle just isn't right for a big dog. Astuce, our small Boston Terrier, on the other hand, is perfectly happy here, so I'm keeping her and of course Tortille the cat. I hope Capsule has a good life with her new friends.

Envelopes

I love envelopes, but before I had my stationery shop, I didn't buy a lot of colorful ones for several reasons - one of them being that most pretty envelopes I found were sold in packs of 25 or 50 with the same design or same color. Since I like a variety, it would have been too expensive to get more than a couple of colors at once.

Now that I have my own stationery business, I have thousands of envelopes, so I thought I could sell them in small packs of assorted colors. These won't be sold in my shop forever though - I just have a few extra packs for sale since I'm using the other ones for my letter sets.
